According to a couple of sources, Gianna Michaels is going to retire from porn. She could be leaving for a number of reasons including taking on Directing roles for upcoming movies, as well as rumors that she may be pregnant.

Perhaps it’s true, once you do your anal scene, retirement isn’t far behind.

According to this Twitter update, she’s just taking a break. Perhaps she is working to start her own studio… She says something "Big" is in the works.

Update: The rumors are flying on Gianna leaving the business due to pregnancy but the more likely reason is that she is going to take a break to set up her own site/studio and feature her content there. This would make the most sense since Gianna clearly has a strong following and wants more control over her career. She’s been running all over the place doing scenes for dozens of different companies, it would make sense for her to decide who she works with and the distributions rights.
