Carolina Jones and the Broken Covenant – Review

Impressive sets and fitting music are coupled with sex scenes that are pretty hot – except for Bree Olsen. Ok, not to be rude, she’s hot and fun to watch, but seriously, she would be better off not speaking. Her wailing and screaming like a stuck pick are quite frankly distracting and border on the annoying.

Carolina Jones is a good looking spoof of the Indiana Jones story and this comes across as a big budget production. The sets are lavish and look great. The costumes add to the ambiance and even the acting plays along with the “adventure” of the film. Carolina is out to find “The Arc” and bring along sidekick “Dixie” who she meets during a threeway in the opening scenes (how she got there we don’t, but I guess we shouldn’t question why a blond is strapped to a table watching a couple have sex and just enjoy it). Dixie’s country bumpkin accent is a little grating at times as is her needlessly wailing during sex. However, she looks good on film and her “distractions” are certainly effective.

The sex is hot and frequent and the sex adventure keeps up through the duration of the film. It’s cheesy and goofy, but that doesn’t mean you won’t like it. The special effects, although not Hollywood, are pretty damn impressive for this style of movie. They spent a lot of time on the look and feel of the movie and it shows.

At a runtime of 1:41 hours there is plenty to watch and each scene is a setup for some hot sex. I haven’t seen the bonus disc so I have no idea what “additional features” there are. The bonus disc is supposed to be as long if not longer than the film itself so it’s probably worth looking into.

At $39.95 the cost of admission is a little high, so is it worth it? It’s a little steep as a purchase, but definitely worth the rental price. It’s good to see high dollar porn these days, a break away from all the POV style that floods the market currently. With the success of titles like Cheerleaders and Babysitters, I have no doubt Carolina Jones will find a big and accepting audience.

It’s not perfect, but I’m looking forward to the next big adventure and considering the latest incarnation to the other Jones saga, I would rather spend my time watching Carolina.
