Why would anyone want a porn free Internet? That’s like eating ToFu…

And considering many on the political scene are buying hookers and getting sex in public bathroom I really don’t think they have any room to speak about this. Perhaps a porn-free and scandal free government would be a better idea?

WASHINGTON — A California lawmaker has proposed new legislation that would provide a new, free, nationwide Internet service that would include no adult content.

Introduced by Rep. Anna G. Eshoo, D-Calif., the Wireless Internet Nationwide for Families Act would require the FCC to auction off a section of the broadcast spectrum. The winner of the auction would have to use the spectrum as the platform for a porn-free Internet alternative.

Ok, these guys get full credit for just continually thumbing their nose at authority. You may not agree with the content, but I love their “kiss my ass mentality”.

The Pirate Bay, a popular BitTorrent tracking site, has launched a blogging service where bloggers won’t have to fear censorship, according to TorrentFreak.

The new blogging site, dubbed BayWords, is powered by Wordpress and will eventually make money off ads.

The Pirate Bay already has an uncensored image-hosting site call BayIMG and has confirmed it is working on an uncensored video-hosting site.

The Pirate Bay has asked a Dutch court to order music industry group IFPI for monetary compensation for a block placed on it by ISP Tele2..

If the site wins its case, any monies received would go towards supporting independent artists who use file sharing to promote their music. Currently the original case between IFPI and Tele2 is under appeal.
